Overview

TRC is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to support our team in the Northern CA area. This role will focus on all aspects of required field and office construction work.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspections and complete documentation including daily reports documenting contractor labor, equipment, daily construction progress, project site visitors, non?conforming work, safety issues, traffic control, field measured quantiles, field discussions with the contractor and public, and daily project photographs, labor compliance interviews and etc.
• Coordinate with clients/owners, other consultants, contractors, materials testers and others involved with the project.
• Read and interpret Standard Specifications, Standard plans, project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents including collecting and checking material tags and certificates of compliance.
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
• Inspect construction (based on Caltrans Standards)
• Communicate with project team members and provide recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Able to work nighttime.

Qualifications

• Highschool degree/GED or equivalent.
• 2?year associate degree in relevant area is a plus.
• 3?5+ years progressively responsible experience in construction inspection, or 6?8+ years of general construction experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge in construction inspection applications.
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Valid CA driver's license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Competent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Companys annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $52.00 - USD $95.00 /Hr.
